About Us
As the Ephesus Community, we are dedicated to preserving the cultural riches of Ephesus, a shared heritage of humanity, and carrying them into the future. Drawing on the riches and values of Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we develop projects with the creative industries. Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we, the Ephesians who shape the future in the light of history and cultural heritage, invite you to become an Ephesian too. We are made up of three groups:
Young Ephesians
Dynamic
As Young Ephesians, we are a group of dynamic and highly motivated individuals aged between 18 and 25. We aim to spark awareness of and enthusiasm for Ephesus among younger generations.
Creative
We identify trends, create work in the creative industries, organize events and build partnerships. To grow the Ephesus Community, we collaborate with opinion leaders and develop creative projects.
Original
With the space and support provided to us, we introduce Ephesus from our own unique perspective and contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage.
Lifelong Learner Ephesians
Open to Learning
As Lifelong Learner Ephesians, we are individuals over the age of 25. We are open to new discoveries, curious about learning throughout our lives and deeply interested in culture and the arts, archaeology and history.
Engaged
We follow the programs of the Ephesus Foundation, take part in its events and create social impact through our contributions.
Conscientious
At our own scale, we provide financial support for efforts to preserve the cultural heritage of Ephesus and contribute to the growth of the community.
Sharing
By learning about the historical and cultural values of Ephesus and sharing this knowledge with those around us, we play an important role in passing cultural heritage on to future generations.
Ambassadors of Ephesus
Strong
As Ambassadors of Ephesus, we are the individuals and institutions with the strongest resource development capacity within the community.
Entrepreneurial
We are people over the age of 30 who care about supporting initiatives that create social benefit.
Mobilizing
As Ambassadors of Ephesus, we mobilize our financial and human resources so that the community can achieve its fundamental goals.
Sustainable
We provide support in many areas, from archaeological excavations to educational programs, and contribute to the institutional sustainability of the Ephesus Foundation. By sharing the visibility and impact of our contributions, we encourage wider audiences to join this movement.
