Fruits and Trees

Figs, grapes, and olives, the classic Mediterranean trio, shaped the lives of the Ephesians. Additionally, fruits such as pomegranates, peaches, melons, blackberries, chestnuts, walnuts, and almonds were also consumed. Alongside wild trees such as the carob and the strawberry tree, the imported linden also bore traces of trade.
